This project was completed in 2015. For this project, I worked as a freelancer and co-worker with a UX designer.
The target users of the websites were overseas Chinese students, especially those staying in the United States. They are able to locate Chinese restaurants and filter on Chinese meals on the site. This is just like an overseas edition of “Dianping.com.”
Thinking
Bright and vivid colors are attractive to young students and they also positively affect a person’s appetite. Since the recommendation for the site was all about Chinese food, no western food appeared in the illustrations. Consequently, no burgers, sausage, donuts, coke, spaghetti, etc. were included.
